Blaine was always quick to lend a hand to all the competitors despite his busy schedule with his family’s entries. Everyone extends a thank you to him and to countless others who pitched in to help get these teams to the show ring.
The exhibitors and competitors would also like to express their gratitude to a number of folks who worked all year long to make sure the week was organized and an enjoyable experience for all.
First, they would like to thank the South Shore Exhibition’s 2010 Executive and Board of Directors for all their hours of hard work. Without their efforts, there wouldn’t be a show venue. A special thank you to Emilie Hayward, the Show Horse Director, and to Clifford Hatch of Pictou, the Show Horse Judge, who worked tirelessly in the sun all week. They would like to acknowledge the ring announcer, Eva Churchill; the ring master, Makaela Myalls; and the ring crew, Nathan Shaeffer and Joseph Greene. Last, and the most significant, they would like to acknowledge the many sponsors for their generosity.
The exhibitors and competitors had a fantastic week and hope to see everyone again next year at the 2011 South Shore Exhibition.
