DvL Publishing launched Horse & Pony for horse and pony enthusiasts in 1987. It is Atlantic Canada's only publication for equine enthusiasts. Published bi-monthly, each issue has a specific focus, usually season-related. There are also regular reports from correspondents in each of the Atlantic provinces and one related to draft horses. The "What's Happening" guide to up-coming equestrian events in Atlantic Canada is columns long and the Classifed Ad section lists horses wanted and for sale, tack, farm equipment, sleighs, carriages, harness, farrier services and more.
